Magnetic System filters and you.

What is a Magnetic system filter and how does it work?

Heating systems contain various metal components such as pipes and radiators, over time the insides of these begin to rust. When that rust breaks away it begins to circulate through the heating system, when combined with dirt and scale that is contained in the systems water it begins to form “central heating sludge”

Problems then begin to occur when this sludge settles in places such as the bottom of radiators causing issues such as pump failures, damaging heat exchangers and unequal heat dispersion in radiators, leading to expensive repair bills. Magnetic system filters stop these issues occurring by catching this sludge, using one will not only save your heating system, but money on repair bills.

The filters work by using a magnetic core, as the water in the system flows through the filter, the debris is caught by the filter due to its magnetic properties, this allows the filter to be easily cleaned, avoiding the need for full system flushes to clear waste.
